Day 01: ARRIVE HANOI - LAO CAI
Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi, transfer to Hanoi railways station for the night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on train (2-soft-berth deluxe compartment, confirmation subject to availability).
Day 02: LAO CAI - SAPA
Upon arrival in Lao Cai, drive 40km on coach to Sapa. Enjoy the picturesque scenery along the way leading towards Sapa, a mountainous area of stunning natural beauty and diverse ethnic minorities. Trnasfe to Victoria hotel for check-in. Breakfast at hotel. Waling tour to visit Saturday mountainous market. Lunchat local restaurant. Transfer to Ta Van village, spend about 8 km twisty road from Sapa’s town to this village. Along the road you will see many H’Mong, Dzay, Dzao ethnic people dressed in their traditional colourful costume. Two-hour trekking tour through a terrace paddy field and discover lifestyle of the Dzay minority. Accommodation in Sapa. (B/L/D)
Day 03: SAPA - BAC HA - LAO CAI - HANOI
Breakfast. A.M. transfer to Bac Ha. View the mountainous market full of montagnards from surrounding villages. They dress their most colourful costumes and head to the market to exchange goods or sell self-made souvenirs. Lunch. Walking tour at Ban Pho village then bound for Lao Cai and board on train to Hanoi. Dinner and overnight on train. (B/L/D)
Day04: HANOI
Early arrival in Hanoi. Transfer to your hotel in Hanoi, check-in. Full day is free at leisure for your own activities or shopping. Accommodation in Hanoi. (B)
Day 05: DEPART HANOI
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight. (B)
